Display Guild Cape in HoM
For a game that is entitled "Guild Wars" the lack of honor bestowed upon the guild itself in the Hall of Monuments is somewhat lacking in my opinion.
I would love to see a stand on either side of the Monument of Honor (Titles monument) which would display a player's guild cape. Nothing fancy, just something to give a nod to our guilds.
The display could work just like the color system for Ascended armor sets, automatically adjusting the guild cape's image should the guild cape be altered.
Please sign if you would like to see our guild capes properly memorialized in the Hall of Monuments and Guild Wars 2.

Sounds nice. They could just use the regular guild banners already in the game.

I would rather see them in the Guild Halls.

Guilds themselves do have a rather unimportant role in a game called "Guild Wars." This suggestion makes sense and would be fairly easy to impliment.

The only potential problem I can see is what to do if your guild changes capes, but still, a good idea.

Not everyone is in a Guild, and some people who are in a Guild are only there because you need to be in one to donate Faction to alliances to boost the Kurz/Lux titles. For such a player as this, it's bad enough they have to have their crappy Guild cape forced upon them in PVP matches. No need to add insult to injury by forcing their crappy Guild cape into the HoM too.

That's...wow, that's a really stupid complaint. Seriously, if you follow that logic, we should make it impossible for people to display their cape in town, because it'd make you feel inferior.
If it means that much to you, just make it so you have to physically put it in the hall yourself, so it's not automatic and you can choose to not have the cape in there. Voila problem solved.
btw, /signed. It'd be really cool to have personal emblems flying around (though I imagine the number of 1 person guilds would skyrocket after this)

I have a solution. Spend 3k to make a guild, design a cape you like, and allign yourself with a faction if you want to be that much of a lone wolf.
Oh, and /signed because there needs to be more emphasis on guilds in "Guild Wars"

Ow... great... just like most standards... like luxon and kurzick ones...
They could hang from poles between the monuments.
Those same poles could be used in the Guild Hall. With 'stick out from wall' and 'stand vertical from the ground' versions.

I didn't notice anything, anywhere about it giving any sort of bonus. It's aesthetic, nothing else.

Only if its optional. I don't like my guild cape and don't want to see it on any occasion if I don't have to. I wouldn't use it but options are good.

Could you please explain how that comment relates to my post that you quoted.
I certainly hope that you didn't just decide to jump on the one person who posted
